State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of various equipment taken from property at the Chestnuthill Township building, 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville.The incident happened at approximately 2:33 a.m. Nov. 4 when an unknown male entered township property and removed three truck batteries, a trailer cord, paver ignition switch and battery terminals before leaving the scene at approximately 5:30 a.m.Police said the stolen property was recovered in the nearby wooded areas.
