State police at Frackville are investigating the following incidents.
Criminal mischief: Steven Robert Melsom, 21, of Girardville, has been charged for smashing multiple windows and damaging the hood and driver's door on the parked vehicle ofa West Preston Avenue, Girardville, woman. The car was parked near her home. The incident occurred at 9:38 p.m. on Monday.Trucker facing DUI: State police at Frackville said troopers received a report from a tractor trailer driver that he could not drive down Industrial Road in West Mahanoy Township because another rig was parked in the middle of the road. The incident was reported at 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Troopers responded to the scene and found John Vincent Keating, 59, of South Carolina, asleep behind the wheel of the parked rig and under the influence of alcohol.Driver falls asleep: State police at Frackville said Claude Robidoux, 71, of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, was driving a 2001 Saturn L300 northbound on Interstate 81 in Foster Township and rounding a right curve when he fell asleep. The vehicle left the road on the west side and struck the guide rail. The impact dislodged the driver's side front wheel of the Saturn. Robidoux was not injured. He was cited for careless driving.Facing assault: A Schuylkill County woman is facing an assault count and other charges following an incident that occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday along Wynonah Drive in South Manheim Township.
