A Carbon County woman is facing charges following an incident that occurred at 7:49 p.m. on Friday at the BZ mini mart, 709 Lincoln Drive, Bowmanstown and along Centre Street in Parryville.

State police at Lehighton said Robin Gay Dail, of Parryville, entered the mini mart and smacked the clerk in the face. Troopers later found Robin Dail at her residence and subsequently charged her with possession of a controlled substance and harassment.Troopers also reported the arrest of a 24-year-old male from Kunkletown on drug charges. Troopers said a traffic stop was made at 5:11 p.m. on Friday along Long Mountain Road near Gilbert Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County. A passenger, the 24-year-old, was found to have in his possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges will be filed. His name was not released by police.
