• Thanksgiving dinner will be served at Faith Alive United Church in Bowmanstown on Saturday.Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and dinner is served from 1-3 p.m. All are welcome to share this dinner with us. • Salem United Methodist Church will be holding a free Thanksgiving luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect all of the special trimmings for any Thanksgiving feast, including desserts. Attendees may come at their convenience during the time frame. Salem United Methodist Church is located at 4019 Main St. in Slatedale. All are welcome.• A free Thanksgiving dinner will be held Sunday at Meeds United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with friends. Free meal includes roasted turkey, potato filling, gravy, corn, green beans, candied sweet potatoes, lettuce with hot bacon dressing, cranberry sauce and salad and more including a large variety of desserts.
