John Peter Sandova Jr., 46, of Lehighton, pleaded guilty this week in Carbon County court to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arrested on July 10 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road by Palmerton police. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dropped in a plea bargain.President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II placed him on probation for six months and ordered he pay court costs of about $1,000.
