Palmerton Area School District approved the following coaching moves Tuesday night:

*Accepted the resignation of Alex Knoll, head tennis coach, effective Oct. 18.*Accepted the resignation of Joseph Russo, assistant girls' basketball coach, effective Nov. 6.Russo will be a volunteer coach for the 2016-17 season.*Approved Mike Gombert as head track and field coach.*Approved Casey Rinfret as assistant girls' basketball coach.
