The Woman's Club of Slatington has announce that Northern Lehigh High School senior Sara Hunsicker of Slatington has been chosen as their Girl of the Month for November.

Sara is the daughter of Douglas and Debra Hunsicker and lives with her parents and siblings, Emily and Jackson.Her activities include marching band, concert band, percussion ensemble, jazz band and the spring musical. Sara also serves as the historian of the senior class and is a member of the National Honor Society, Leo Lions Club and the Envirothon team.Outside of school, she serves as her church's pianist and enjoys taking piano and guitar lessons, often writing her own songs. She plans to attend college to major in marketing.
