Northern Lehigh School Board took the following action on Monday:

• Approved the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute's financing plan in the amount of $49,000,000.• Agreed to enter into an agreement between the district and The Meadows for the purpose of furnishing regular education or special education services for students in the 2016-17 school year.• Approved changes to the district's emergency operations plan.• Agreed to enter into a new three-year leasewith Topp Business Solutions for the purchase of seven new Ricoh copiers at a monthly costof $2,177. The copiers will be placed in each school building office, the middle school library, and two in central administration. The copiers currently in these areas had a lease agreementthat expired in October.• Granted permission to Julie Everett, Deanna Quay, Theresa Cinicola and Christine Leslie to attend the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association Conferencein Hershey.• Granted permission to Shawn Green to attend the PA Educational Technology Expo & Conference Feb. 12-15 in Hershey.• Granted permission to Karen Nicholas to attend the SAS Institute - SAS Institute - Personalized Learning: Empowering Teachers and Learners Conferencein Hershey.• Approved the first reading of policies related to local board procedures, employees benevolence sick leave, employees personal necessity leave, employees uncompensated leave, transportation video/audio recording, and operations, conflict of interest.• Approved a resolution directing the Northampton County Tax Claim Bureau not to collect delinquent taxes on behalf of the school district.• Approved a resolution directing the Lehigh County Tax Claim Bureau not to collect delinquent taxes on behalf of the school district.• Announced that the school board's reorganization meeting will be held at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 5, followed by the board's regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.
