Emergency crews were called to a scene at 2 p.m. Wesnesday when a parked pickup truck broke free and rolled down the steep two hundred block of North Avenue. The unit rolled the street where it mounted the curb striking a home at 219 North Avenue. The impact broke off a gas line servicing the home. No injuries were reported in the mishap. Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
