The Alzheimer Association Caregiver Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System meets monthly from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton campus at 135 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton. The next meeting is Nov. 21.

Donna Kravelk, a registered nurse on the Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at BMHS, will facilitate the group. The intent will be to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.The meetings are free of charge and anyone seeking support and knowledge of Alzheimer's and Dementia are welcome to attend.
