November 7, 1998 - Gabe Robinson scores two touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air, to help Jim Thorpe earn a 30-14 victory over Nativity. Robinson breaks free for a 41-yard scoring run in the third quarter and closes out the Olympian scoring with a 99-yard TD catch from Matt Long. Robinson also returns a kickoff 85 yards to set up a short scoring run. Long finishes 7-of-13 for 170 yards, while Ngoyi Mukusa carries 14 times for 108 yards, 25 of them coming on a touchdown run. Thorpe, coached by Mark Rosenberger, also receives a scoring run from Jeremy Turnbach and two tackles for a loss and a fumble recovery from Craig Sibbach.
