The Woman's Club of Slatington has announced that Northern Lehigh High School senior Ashley Wilk of Slatington has been chosen as their Girl of the Month for October.

Ashley is the daughter of Chuck and Kristie Wilk and lives with her parents and siblings, Molly, Chucky, Kaylee and Michael, as well as her four dogs, Lucy, Sam, Fancy and Ellie.Her activities include soccer, basketball, track and field, SADD and Bigs and Littles. Ashley also serves as a senior class officer and is a member of the National Honor Society.She plans to attend college to major in mechanical engineering and minor in bioengineering.
