One person was injured Thursday afternoon when involved a crash on Fireline Road in Bowmanstown.

The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. at the intersection with Ore Street.

The male driver apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway rolling the Chevy Trail Blazer onto its roof.

The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a medical facility.

Fireline road was closed over an hour.

Hometown fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.

State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
