November 3, 2000 - Alex Zukus scores four touchdowns and totals 238 all-purpose yards to help Tamaqua post a 40-29 victory over Schuylkill Valley. Zukus, just a freshman, reaches the end zone twice in the opening quarter, breaking loose for a 74-yard punt return and a 62-yard run. He later adds a 34-yard TD run and catches a 26-yard scoring pass from Adam Knoblauch. The Blue Raiders, coached by Tom Bonner, also receive 197 yards rushing and a touchdown from Shawn Hodge, and a 30-yard TD pass from Knoblauch to Chris Hartz.
