Empire Beauty School in Pottsville raised funds to support Schuylkill Women in Crisis. SWiC's mission is to raise awareness of domestic violence.

Empire presented a check for $4,416 and donated items valued at over $20,800 to SWiC.These items were raised through collection drives throughout the year.Empire Beauty School is nationally recognized for their development and implementation of the "Cut It Out" curriculum in school. This curriculum helps their students identify and have the appropriate response to abuse.Stylists can be the gateway to help for those sitting in their chairs who sometimes share their most personal troubles.
