Several people were injured late Wednesday night when involved in a violent head-on crash in East Brunswick Township.

The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. near 153 Cold Run Road near the village of Hecla.One of the victims was treated at the scene by members of the New Ringgold Ambulance and Schuylkill Haven paramedics before being flown by MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown.Responding was the Community Fire Company of New Ringgold.Cold Run Road was closed for several hours. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
