The Carbon County Drug Task Force seized 191 blue waxine bags of suspected heroin, five bags of suspected methamphetamine, $802 cash, additional waxine bags, a grinder, spoons, and tweezers during an investigation at the Mahoning Inn shortly after 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the scene because two people were found unconscious in a room at the Mahoning Inn.Radio reports were drug paraphernalia was found throughout the room. Two Lehighton paramedic units were dispatched to the scene where they evaluated the two.According to Mahoning Township police, Jessica Davis, 22, of 492 Ashtown Drive, Lehighton, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.Luis Colon, 27, of 441 East Ridge St., Lansford, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy of possession with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernaliaBoth were arraigned by Magistrate Eric Schrantz in Jim Thorpe and committed to the Carbon County Prison in lieu of $50,000, 10 percent.
