PennDOT officials said that a project along Route 902 between Summit Hill and Lansford will probably extend into 2017.

Contractors are currently doing work along 902 between East Lehigh Street in Summit Hill and Route 209 in Lansford. The work consists mostly of repaving and guide rail upgrades. It is similar to the work that occurred between Summit Hill and Mahoning Township over the summer.A PennDOT spokesman said this week that the contractor plans to work as long as possible, weather permitting. But it is likely that they will have to finish the work in spring 2017.
