Pleasant Valley and Stroudsburg battled on the final Friday night of the regular season in the Times News Game of the Week.

In a back-and-forth contest, it was an 11-yard touchdown run by Stroudsburg's Jamaal Brome with 4:11 remaining in the game that allowed the Mountaineers to pull out a 26-22 victory.

Pleasant Valley had taken the lead just minutes earlier when Brandon Keyes and Brandon Gilleece hooked up on a 14-yard TD pass.

Keyes and Mike Mitchell hooked up on a first half TD pass for the Bears and Joseph Lees added a nine-yard run as Pleasant Valley held a slim 16-13 advantage at the break.

The loss drops Pleasant Valley to 8-2 on the season while Stroudsburg improves to 7-3.
