Halloween on parade

From funny to scary, we captured some scenes from area Halloween parades. But the Halloween fun isn't over yet. Check out some of the activities coming up in the next few days:

Events• Celebrate Halloween in a safe environment by bringing family and friends to Northampton Community College's Monroe Campus to enjoy activities and trick-or-treat for free candy on the Spartan Treat Trail. This event will be held from 5-7 p.m. todayin Pocono Hall in Tannersville. It is free and open to the public, but only for children 13 years of age and under.• The West End Park and Open Space Commission is holding a pet costume parade at the VanBuskirk/Haney Park on Anchorage Road in Saylorsburg at 11 a.m. Saturday. It will include, games, food, baked goods, drinks and more.• The Eldred Township Community Center is sponsoring a Halloween dance at 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Polk Township Volunteer Company in Kresgeville. Refreshments will be available.• Salem-St. Paul's in Kresgeville is holding a Halloween party for all ages from 7-9 p.m. Saturdaywith food, games, costumes and prizes. From 5-8 p.m. Sunday, the business will hold its "Ghoulish Glow-a-Thon" at Ozzy's Family Fun Center in Leesport. The event will feature food, games, a candy bar, laser tag, skating and entertainment by DJ Harley D & Sidecar.
