Two Monroe County men have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting incident that occurred in August.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said Patrick Player, 21, and Tygee Hall, 21, both of Tobyhanna, have been charged with the incident that occurred on Aug. 30 at 3:37 a.m. in the A Pocono Country Place development in Coolbaugh Township.Police said they were dispatched totwo homes on Falcon Terrace andone on Ledgewood Drive, for a reported drive-by shooting. At the scene police collected evidence which included projectiles from inside the three residences, spent shell casings, and live/unfired 9 mm Blazer rounds in the streets adjacent to the homes.The investigation revealed that the initial drive-by incident was in retaliation for a drug-related disagreement. A subsequent investigation identified Player and Hall. Police said Hall was the driver of the vehicle and Player the shooter. Both were arrested Monday at the county prison in Snydersville where they are being held on unrelated charges. Both are charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, firearms not to be carried without a license, criminal conspiracy, all felonies; and misdemeanor counts of possession of instruments of crime, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. Both were arraigned at the prison. Straight cash bail for Player was set at $500,000 and for Hall at $25,000. Both remain in the county prison.
