Police have released the identity of two people killed in a rollover crash Saturday, with the truck they were riding in landing in a swamp alongside Kunkletown Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton identified the two victims as Howard Brown, 47, of Saylorsburg, the driver, and Tara Hallingse, 39, of Lebanon, New Jersey, his passenger.According to police about 4:44 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a reported rollover crash. On scene troopers found a black Chevrolet Silverado single cab pickup down an embankment lying on its roof, partially submerged in water and thick brush/shrubbery.Troopers said Hallingse was found inside the submerged vehicle in the passenger side. Brown was ejected from the vehicle and found submerged in water behind the rear of the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.Troopers said Brown was not wearing a seat belt, while Hallingse was wearing a seat belt.The investigation into the crash is continuing.
