The rain date is 7 p.m. Oct. 26.• Walker Township Safe Trick or Treat Night by the New England Fire Company is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.• The Tamaqua High School Leadership Club will sponsor a Safe Halloween Night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27, at the Tamaqua Senior High School.• The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission is sponsoring a family Halloween dance and social event from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Tamaqua Salvation Army, 105 W. Broad St. There is a small admission fee which will include snacks, refreshment, music and games. Prizes will be awarded for those who come dressed in costume. p.m.Oct. 30, the business will hold its "Ghoulish Glow-a-Thon" at Ozzy's Family Fun Center in Leesport. The event will feature food, games, a candy bar, laser tag, skating and entertainment by DJ Harley D & Sidecar. Tickets are available for purchase at Schaeffer's Motorsports, or at the door of Ozzy's on Oct. 30. All proceeds will be contributed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
