Several people escaped injury Monday afternoon when involved in a crash in West Penn township. The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Hill and Winter Mountain roads.

It appeared a male driver may have pulled off Winter Mountain road into the path if a car traveling east on Pine Hill road.

The car traveling east came to rest in a field while the offending car came to rest along the east berm. Members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance were evaluating those involved.

West Penn Fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. West Penn township police are investigating the incident.
