The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce and radio station WMGH will sponsor a Tamaqua Business Expo at the Tamaqua Community Art Center on Oct. 20. Hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. and will be broadcast live. Local businesses and organizations will be on hand to provide a look at what Tamaqua has to offer.

Businesses scheduled to attend include:; CareLink, Total Accessibility, Independent Living Services, attorneys Williamson, Friedburg and Jones, the Seltzer Group, Ben Turrano, H & R Block, Schuylkill Transportation Services and Russell Cellular.Also attending will be Cyan Sky Copier Technologies, Weatherwood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, the Seach Law Offices, Santander Bank, Greenzweig insurance Agency, Schuylkill Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance Inc., Music Together, Cool Breeze Imaging, the Link and Keystone Medical.The chamber will also be hosting a mixer, from 6 to 8 p.m., during the expo. The mixer is being sponsored by Heisler's Dairy Bar.Admission is free and there will be door prizes and light refreshments.
