Sites and times have been set for the Schuylkill League volleyball playoffs.

Marian and Panther Valley both qualified for the league semifinals, which will be played on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Minersville High School.In the 5:30 p.m. opener, Division 1 champ Blue Mountain will meet Division 4 champ Marian. Thirty minutes after the conclusion of that match, Division 2 champ Panther Valley will face Division 3 champ Halifax.On Thursday, Oct. 20, the two semifinal winners will meet at 7 p.m. at Martz Hall in Pottsville for the league championship.Fans attending the semifinal doubleheader can use the following directions to Minersville:Take Route 209 South to Market St. in Pottsville. Make a left onto Market Street (still 209 South). Keep straight on 901 into Minersville (you will pass the Mar-Lin center on your right). At the light in Minersville make a left onto Sunbury Street. Make a right onto 5th street (this is by Lazarchick's Cafe, past the elementary school). Bear left at the fork in the road. Make a left at the sign to Minersville High School.
