NJ man facing charges in Monroe County

A New Jersey man is facing charges in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Robert Joseph Larbalestrier II, 33, of Toms River, was identified as a suspect in a scrap metal theft from Andersen Builders in Monroe County on Aug. 19.On Sept. 24 at 4:41 p.m. Larbalestrier was observed operating a 1998 Saturn SW2 at the intersection of routes 209 and 715 in Chestnuthill Township.A traffic stop was conducted and Larbalestrier was taken into custody on theft and related counts. At the stop Larbalestrier was found to have active warrants for his arrest out of Stroud Regional Police Department for theft and other warrants issued to Missouri Board of Probation and Parole for a probation violation, and another warrant out of the Sainte Genevieve Sheriff's office in Missouri, for burglary. Both the Missouri warrants indicated extradition.Larbalestrier was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending extradition to Missouri.
