The Tamaqua Volunteers group plans to repaint the cabooses at Tamaqua's Historic Train Station from noon to 6 p.m. Friday. More than $600 worth of supplies were donated to the restoration effort by M&S Hardware of Tamaqua.

The group has spent many hours cleaning up the area around the cabooses and preparing them to be repainted.Anyone willing to help may contact Andy Leibenguth on his Facebook page or meet at the station anytime during Friday's scheduled work session.
