October 13, 1972 - Faron Frey scores three touchdowns, including the first one on the game's opening kickoff, to help Pleasant Valley roll to a 47-0 Lehigh-Northampton League victory over Palisades. Frey's kickoff return goes for 91 yards and an early Bears lead. He also reaches the end zone on a 4-yard run and a 30-yard pass from Kurt Arner. Glenn Hawk, who ends the contest with a team-high 93 yards rushing, scores on runs of 32 and 34 yards. PV, coached by Steve Kun, also receives a 18-yard interception return for a TD from Jeff Coolbaugh and a 24-yard scoring strike from Dean Berger to Stan Burghardt.
