The Women of the ELCA will meet at 7 p.m. todayin Luther Hall, 175 S. Third St. Vicar Lauren Heywood will present a biblical storytelling. Light refreshments follow.Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergy issues. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides at Holy Communion; Vicar Lauren Heywood assists. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 9:30 a.m.Senior high youth group, students of grades 9-12, meets 5-7 p.m. each Sunday, in the church's youth room. Junior high students in grades 5-8 meet 5-7 p.m. each Wednesday. Vicar Lauren Heywood is the director.For those desiring to arrange baptism, a meeting with instructional information with Moore at 1 p.m. Sunday. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Oct. 23. Please contact the church office in advance to preregister at 610-377-4303.The third of a four-session Bible study on the book of Galatians led by Moore begins at 7 p.m. Monday.Bethany EC ChurchBethany EC Church, 222 North St., will hold Fall Rally Day and Harvest Home at 10 a.m. Sunday. Bethany United Evangelical Church (became Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church in November 1922) was officially dedicated on Oct. 11, 1895, and has continued serving the community of Lehighton for 121 years. Guest speaker for the service will be Pastor Adam Roberts, who is currently serving the Kutztown EC Church. Adam is a graduate of Lehighton High School and Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown.
