A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a rear-end crash in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Gary J. Cherry, 49, of New Ringgold was driving a 2007 Nissan Quest eastbound on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township at 1:33 p.m. Thursday when he slowed for traffic ahead of him. His vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2007 Saab driven by Nicole Harris, 24, of Columbus, Ohio. Harris was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, by Cetronia ambulance. Her passenger, Shelby Clark, 29, of Columbus, Cherry and his passenger, Dawn Rudy, 42, of New Ringgold, were all not injured. The Saab was towed from the scene.Troopers cited Harris for following too closely.
