Mischief incidents investigated

Several acts of criminal mischief have been investigated by state police.

• A 17-year-old Kunkletown teen has been charged for an incident that occurred on Sept. 27 at 4:51 p.m. along Silver Springs Boulevard in Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County. The teen is accused of throwing a rock, damaging the rear window of a truck owned by Tanner Matthew Lenskold, 19, of Kunkletown.•A resident ofStone Mountain Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, Carbon County, reported someone damaged her mailbox. The incident occurred sometime overnight of Oct. 2-3.• A resident ofHorseshoe Drive in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone used blue spray paint and painted the left side of his white Chevrolet pickup truck while parked at his residence. The incident was reported at 11:37 p.m. on Friday.• A resident ofButternut Street, Eldred Township, reported someone damaged his RV which was parked on his property, denting the undercarriage.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at Lehighton at 610-681-1850.• Police are searching for the person who damaged a sign in front of St. Luke's Family Practice in Brodheadsville.An unidentified person shot the practice's sign with a shotgun sometime between 8 a.m. Sept. 6 and 5 p.m. Sept. 7, causing $1,000 worth of damage. The incident is being labeled as criminal mischief.Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Fern Ridge, at 570-646-2271.
