The Tamaqua Community Art Center will host a concert by the band Diaspora on Oct. 29 to benefit the Tamaqua Blue Raider Foundation. The concert will be held from 7-9 p.m.

Diaspora was formed in 2008, originating from southern Schuylkill County. The name means "sowing of seeds." Band members include: Dave Evans, vocalist, guitar, mandolin and harmonica; Terry Laughlin, vocals, keys, bass and guitar; Larry Baudoin, vocals and drums; and Randy Hamlin, vocals, guitar and bass.
