State police at Lehighton and Fern Ridge reported on three assault incidents investigated by troopers.

• On Oct. 4 at 9:55 a.m. troopers at Lehighton responded to a residence on Scenic Drive in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Marc Anthony White Sr., 31, anda 27-year-old woman were involved in a physical altercation during which she suffered scrapes on her right arm. White was charged with simple assault.• The second incident occurred on Monday about 8:30 p.m. ata Trachsville Hill Road residence in Kunkletown, Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Troopers at Lehighton said Gerald George Neiroda, 23, anda 47-year-old woman were involved in a domestic dispute during which Neiroda slammed her to the floor and started banging her head off the door. He then proceeded to choke her.He was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault and harassment and placed in the county prison in Nesquehoning.• State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an assault incident that occurred at the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville, Hamilton Township.Troopers said while waiting for processing at the prison Germain Mingo, 34, of Albrightsville, pushedanother man into the side of a holding cell and assaulted him. He had to be restrained by several officers. He is facing aggravated assault charges. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on Sunday.
