October 11, 1963 - Jake Boyer scores three touchdowns to help Lehighton gain a 26-0 victory over East Stroudsburg. Two of Boyer's scores occur in the opening quarter as the Indians, coached by Mike Ebbert, take an early 13-0 lead. Boyer snares a 22-yard scoring strike from Kerry Bowman and then races into the end zone on an 8-yard run. Boyer, who adds a second-quarter tally when Rich Rex blocks a punt and he returns it 8 yards, finishes the contest with 136 yards rushing. Rex adds 120 yards on the ground, while Terry Snyder caps the scoring with a fourth-quarter, 14-yard TD run.
