I-80 traffic stop leads to drugs, cash

State Police found five pounds of marijuana, more than 100 grams of cocaine and $4000 cash in a vehicle after a recent traffic stop on Interstate 80.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 23, troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-80 west near the Blakeslee exit for speeding.

The troopers searched the vehicle and found approximately five pounds of marijuana, 3.6 ounces of cocaine, and $4000 cash.

The driver of the vehicle, Dewayne Harris, 37, of Newark, N.J., was taken into custody. He is currently out on bail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
