Baby Trump meets 'The Donald'

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

That adage worked to perfection on Monday for a Schuylkill County family. After six months in the role of a president wannabe, their small son, Tuscarora's Baby Trump, finally had a chance to meet presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.Hunter Tirpak, 2, the tiny toddler impersonator, attended his second Trump rally Monday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township and was invited to the podium to share a few moments with the Republican candidate.Trump asked the tyke if he wanted to stay with him or go home, to which Tirpak responded "Trump," evoking a knowing smile from the GOP nominee."He's supposed to look like Donald Trump, but he's actually much too good-looking," Trump said. For both the Tirpaks and Trump, it was a second visit to the Wilkes-Barre venue.Mother Jessica Tirpak dressed Hunter to resemble Donald Trump and took him to a Trump rally held in April, one day before the primary election."I thought it'd be cute. I dressed him up and we took him to the Mohegan Sun rally and he was walking around and high-fiving the people," the Tuscarora mom told the Times News at that time.According to a Facebook post by Jessica Tirpak, the opportunity for the meeting between big Trump and little "Tirpak Trump" was arranged by NEPA for TRUMP, a group formed in October 2015."NEPA for TRUMP contacted me to meet Baby Trump at the Mohegan Sun on Monday. We are thrilled that they would love the opportunity to meet him and have a photo shoot," she said."Also, a request was made by NEPA for TRUMP to have our little guy meet the Donald himself. There are no guarantees, but the fact that there are so many awesome people out there trying to make this happen is joyous enough."A Schuylkill County commissioner offered his thoughts with an online post late Monday."So proud of our Baby Trump Tirpak from Tuscarora, Schuylkill County, who made it to the stage with the man," posted Commissioner George Halcovage.
