A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Sunday after he was arrested on charges of rape, incest, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said David Harwi, 43, of Deturksville Road, Pine Grove, has been charged for actions against the female victim which occurred during the time frame of March 16, 2010, and Sept. 16, while she was between the ages of 12 and 18.Harwi was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, and committed to the county prison in lieu of $200,000 straight cash bail.
