The Carbon County Salary Board approved a number of items for various departments during its monthly meeting on Thursday.

They include:• Change the salary of one law clerk in court administration from $33,051.20 per year to $32,086.60 per year, effective Oct. 6.• Change the rate of one district justice secretary I in the district justices office from $14.25 per hour to $11.26 per hour, effective Oct. 6.• Establish the position of one part-time district justice secretary I at $14.25 per hour, effective Oct. 6 through Dec. 31. The position is excluded from the retirement plan.• Change the rate of one collections clerk II in the bureau of collections office from $10.72 per hour to $11.04 per hour, effective Oct. 19.• Change the rate of one part-time K-9 officer at the animal shelter from $9.26 per hour to $9.53 per hour, effective Oct. 26.• Change the rate of one part-time cleaning person in buildings and grounds from $9.72 per hour to $10.01 per hour, effective Oct. 26.• Change the rate of one county caseworker II in Children and Youth Services from $17.47 per hour to $16.47 per hour, effective Oct. 6.
