McGarry reaches the end zone on his team's first two possessions, scoring on runs of 14 and 44 yards. The Blue Bombers, coached by Bill Dukett, add to their lead in the second quarter when McGarry tosses a 26-yard scoring pass to Dave Rodrigues. Tom Bollinger accounts for the other Palmerton score with a 1-yard run in the third frame. The Bombers' defense limits their opponent to just 57 yards of offense.
