Bethlehem cop accused of indecent exposure

A Bethlehem City Police Officer has been accused of indecent exposure in Lehigh County.

District Attorney James Martin on Friday announced charges against Glenn Curtis Woolard, 35, of Mine Drive in Lower Macungie Township.

In two separate incidents that occured over the last month, Woolard was allegedly seen touching himself inside his vehicle.

The first incident occurred September 27 at a Target store in Lower Macungie Township. The second occurred October 5, when a woman driving a truck saw Woolard masturbating as he drove along Hamilton Boulevard in the area of Cedar Crest Boulevard.

Martin said that Woolard has been placed on suspension by the Bethlehem Police Department, pending further disciplinary action.

According to a press release from the District Attorney's office, Woolard served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 75th Ranger Batallion of the U.S. Army.
