The Tamaqua Community Art Center is offering classes during October.
Learn how to craft your own home made, all natural, chemical free soap, with sessions held at 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. There is a fee.For more information, or to register, call 570-550-6169 or 570-668-1192.The Tamaqua Community Art Center is also offering three different "Chalk and Chew" penciling events during October.Step-by-step instructions will be offered by artist Amy Mogish.The Oct. 18 workshop will be "The Black Hat Society," while the subject for the Oct. 26 workshop will be a color jack-o'-lantern. Both of these workshops will begin at 6:30 p.m.The third workshop will be a "Mommy and Me Creepy Spider," and will feature a wooden block to be designed with color pencils.
