Two people were cited after a domestic disturbance in Tamaqua on Sept. 14. Officers were called to 305 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, at 9:17 p.m., where they were met by Jonathan C. Hindermyer, 37, who said he had been arguing with his girlfriend, but she left when police arrived. He was issued a verbal warning about noise.
At 10:40 p.m., officers were called back to the home, where they were met by a contingent of neighbors, all complaining about the noise being made by Hindermyer and his girlfriend, Denise Latham, 34.Hindermyer's mother told officers that Latham hit her when she tried to break up the argument.Hindermyer was cited for disorderly conduct, Latham was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment.On Sept. 21 Hindermyer was cited again after he caused a disturbance at his apartment building.Police were called to the scene at 10 a.m. by a neighbor, who complained that Hindermyer was continually yelling, an ongoing problem.He was cited for disorderly conduct.
