Care Net of Carbon County, headquartered in Lehighton with a new second site coming to Nesquehoning, will host its 15th annual fundraising banquet on Nov. 4. The banquet will be held at the Mahoning Valley Country Club, Lehighton.

This year's theme is Life Unfolding.The dinner will also feature a "unique silent auction" with many quality gifts and services.All proceeds benefit Care Net's clients, as well as the new location, which is currently being renovated to best serve the Panther Valley area.Suzi DeMara, Care Net director, said that the goal for the fundraising event is to raise $63,000, which will help offset costs of the Nesquehoning site, which needs nearly $10,000 in educational materials, as well as the clients at the Lehighton site.Doors open at 5 p.m.; dinner will be held at 6:30 and final bids for the auction can be placed at 8.Tickets are limited for the adults only event.
