Lehigh Carbon Community College's Diversity Committee, representatives from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and other employment experts will hold a panel event to discuss the topic of employment for people with disabilities. The event will be held from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 6, in the Alumni Center Rooms 107/108, at the college's main campus in Schnecksville.

The panel of employers will provide feedback to a series of questions, with time for individual follow-up questions.Panelists include: Amy Beck, executive director Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living; Dolly Singley, support specialist for Cedar Crest College; Susan Storm, district administrator, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Allentown; and Richard Walters, eastern regional manager, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.This event is free and open to the public.For more information, contact Michelle Mitchell at
