State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating the theft of an all-terrain vehicle in Mahanoy Plane.

The incident was reported at 5:30

a.m.Tuesday..The victim told police someone used bolt cutters to cut a chain that secured the ATV to a utility pole and fled the scene, traveling east on State Route 4030 in Mahanoy Plane.The vehicle is a black, 2012 Yamaha Model YFZ, with a silver stripe on it. The vehicle has a racing exhaust pipe on it, with GYTR displayed on the pipe.
