September 22, 1979 - Dale Beck scores a pair of touchdowns and Slatington's defense forces five turnovers and allows just 23 yards of offense to lead the Bulldogs to a 27-0 Centennial League win over Northwestern. Beck rushes for 75 yards, and reaches the end zone on runs of 6 and 2 yards. The winners, coached by Dick Snell, also receive a 1-yard tally from Robert Williams and a 14-yard TD toss from Craig Schefflet to Rick Walbert.
