Joshua Zuckerman, 27, of Cedar Street, Tamaqua, was cited after an incident in the borough on Sept. 8.

At 12:04 a.m., Tamaqua Police received a call about a disturbance involving a man and a woman in the 200 block of Cedar Street, They were able to hear a male voice, screaming, from one of the backyards when they arrived in the area. Officers went to the yard and found Zuckerman causing a disturbance as he walked toward the back porch.When asked about the disturbance, Zuckerman replied there was nothing happening. He refused to allow officers access to his home or his wife, who was on the kitchen floor, unmoving.Despite Zuckerman's uncooperative stance, officers were able to speak with the wife, who said the couple had been arguing about the husband's drinking all day with the neighbors. The screaming started when she tried to get him to go to bed.Instead of sleeping in his own bed, Zuckerman spent the night in a cell block, cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
