Coaldale police have filed charges against a Summit Hill woman after receiving the results of a blood test taken in March.

On March 26, at 2:11 a.m., an officer stopped a blue Jeep Liberty that was being driven in an erratic manner. The driver kept accelerating, then slowing down, weaving back and forth between the double yellow line and the white fog line on Water Street, which is also Route 209.The driver was identified as Domenica C. Colancecco, 26, of East White Street.She was given, and failed, field sobriety tests, then taken to St. Luke's Miners Campus for blood tests.The results indicate Colancecco had a 0.17 percent blood alcohol content, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.She was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and for failing to stay in the lane of travel.
