Pocono Mountain Regional police have been issued an arrest warrant for a man involved in an aggravated assault incident.

Police said at 3:58 a.m. Aug. 28 they were dispatched to a location on Old Route 940 in Pocono Pines for a reported altercation. On scene officers were advised by the victim that Samir Cajevic, 30, no address given, attempted to light the victim's vehicle on fire with lighter fluid while the victim was still in the vehicle.Cajevic then smashed his Jeep Wrangler into the victim's vehicle numerous times while the victim was still in the driver's seat. Cajevic ran off before police arrived.The victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel for minor injuries from lighter fluid being sprayed in his face.Police have obtained a warrant for Cajevic, charging him with aggravated assault, attempted aggravated assault by motor vehicle and related counts.
